Maria Elena Bello, born April 18 1967 is an American actress, producer and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998) and Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2006), The Cooler (2004), A History of Violence (2006), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008). Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013). Lights Out (2016). Bello was a TV actress as the character Dr. Anna Del Amico, the medical drama that was aired from 1997 to. She was also the character Michelle McBride on Goliath's first season in 2016 and as Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane on NCIS which she portrayed as the lead agent. Bello was born on April 18 1967 in Norristown (New Jersey) to Kathy Bello who was who was a teacher and nurse at school. Bello also appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998). Bello also appeared in various other roles, like that of Michelle McBride on the series' first season Touch in 2013, as well as that of Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane from NCIS from 2017 through 2021. Bello studied political sciences at Villanova University. After graduating, Bello honed her acting skills through a variety of New York theater productions. Bello was married to Dan McDermott and has a son who is named Jackson. [18] Bello wrote in November of 2013 that she was having a same-sex affair with Clare Munn, her former partner. She published a book entitled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the Labels we Give Ourselves (Dey Street Books, April 28, 2015).
